DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
Basic and Final Design of the Milan-Verona High Speed/High Capacity Railway Line (CEPAV2):
- design of the railway marshalling yards inside the storage areas to support the construction of the line; sizing of the areas to store the railway materials (rails, sleepers, ballast, etc.)
- definition of the railway layout inside storage areas
- basic design of the tracks linking the areas with the existing railway lines and of the tracks inside the storage areas of Treviglio, Ospidaletto, Montirone, Rezzato, Gardesana, Lugagnano
- equipment/material quantities estimation and investment costs estimation
- preliminary activity to solve the interferences between the new line and the existing railway lines, which can create delays and/or interruptions of the existing services (railway junctions, road access, tunnels, causeways, etc.); identification of the interference and technical schedule of the solution.
Final Design and construction of the Milan-Bologna High Speed/High Capacity Railway Line (CEPAV1):
- consultancy and supervision activity
- verification of the final design for what concerning data coming from the installed control units (UAD) regarding the civil infrastructures on the Melegnano-Fidenza section (50 km).
