PROJECT VALUE: Electrification of the railway line in the Vipacco valley: for the operational scenario referred to passengers traffic (local and international): approx. € 13 millions; for the operational scenario referred to the goods international traffic: approx. € 15 millions.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Study 1: “Regional Development depending on scenarios for transport in cross-border area”. Proposals of road and rail interventions to improve the transport infrastructures existing in the border area between Italy - Slovenia. Pre-feasibility study of the electrification of the railway line in the Vipacco valley: 3.000 Volt DC; conversion of electrical substations: n. 3 for the passenger service; n.4 with goods service. Checks the voltage drop, as show in the following figures.

Study 2: “Congruency and correspondence of TEN/TINA nets and special attention to Corridor V”.
